The Skegness Neighbourhood Board

The Skegness Neighbourhood Board is responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of the Pride in Place Programme and Plan. The Board brings together members with different expertise, knowledge and a shared ambition for the local area.

As a community-led board, the members joining Chair Paul McCooey represent a broad cross-section of the local community and will help ensure that local voices, experience and priorities shape the work of the Board.

Chair, Paul McCooey

Working in the heart of Skegness, Paul is a Chartered Accountant with 30 years’ experience. He has a good understanding of the needs of small businesses and the people who run and work in these businesses. His day job is a Director of Duncan & Toplis but he is also Chair of Skegness Area Business Chamber and an active board member of Skegness Day Centre and First College. Through his involvement with these local charities, Paul has seen first-hand some of the challenges facing people within the community and is passionate about improving the lives of local residents.
